Golden Age Green Lantern (Alan Scott) Appreciation (2019)

I'm not sure if the original (pre-New52) Alan Scott ever had his own, separate appreciation thread or not, so why not take time to honor this version specifically in 2019?

I miss Alan, I hope when he finally returns he has his classic outfit. I fear for a lame redesign.

Alan is great. One of my favorite GL comics is #40 where Hal teams up with Alan for the first time in the series where Krona is introduced. his later team ups in the series were also a lot of fun.

He was a pretty good minor mentor for Kyle as well.

I always stay up to date and do rewatches pretty frequently. I will never get tired of hearing him rag on bad comics, especially the New 52.

Agreed. First time I read him was back in JSA and then I just sort of fell for his character. I wonder if they will keep his new or old origin when he shows up.
