Honestly. i think that the only chance that they had of happening was after Morrison in the case that she had lived, but at this point, i doubt that Marvel is interested in exploring.

I like Wolverine a lot and really don't have anything againts this relationship. I would have prefered if marvel tried it now but they didn't. maybe another day.

At the time, i think that Marvel wanted Jott separated for a while, so i don't think that it was impossible for it to happen. The two (Logan and Jean) would eventually drift apart and Jott would be back at some point.

But...who knows?, you might be right.

Probably. but at this point i can only speculate. For another side, Marvel has never been to keen in Wolverine having stable relationships.

His longest ones (in years of publication):

-Mariko Yashida 1979-1982
-Melita Garner 2010-2012

Otherwise he has been mostly on flings or friend with benefits.

I guess he is supposed to be a lone wolf, a tragic character and taming him and putting him in a stable relationship would break his character. Well, flirtmance it is then.

More or less, anti-heroes are supposed to have an aura of danger, so many writers feel that giving then stable relationships compromise that aura.

Well only a stable relationship if she can't keep up with him or is someone that he has to protect like she'll break if things get rough...and who knows Logan/Jean could still happen in the not to distant future...
