Uncanny X-Men #9 (spoilers/discussion)

Pretty frustrated that for the 2nd issue in a row... Jubilee is left completely absent from any of the panels (despite being shown as a primary cast member.) It’s a shame that they reduced her to a few flash blinding scenes, some jokes, and a few injuries she immediately recovered from. I’m trying to still be hopeful that her getting her powers back will lead to some meaningful character growth.

The writers lampshading through Apocalypse's dialogue the pointlessness of the kidnapping plot doesn't excuse the pointless kidnapping plot.

I was wondering about Angel as well. A pissed off Archangel would most certainly be a factor somewhere in this battle.

I did not think of it earlier in the series when it looked like Armor was shielding everyone from the mansion blowing up, but since when can she absorb other people into her armor, never mind turn her armor into a rolling ball, and whatever nonsense they have going on. We have Invisible Woman and Jean Grey for that stuff. Stop giving mutants that power to use their power to act as all other powers, please.

Well, Hisako has been able to contain other people inside her armor for nearly as long as she's been able to create an armor large enough to contain people other then herself.
Hell, she once contained the entire Blackbird inside it.

The ball thing is admittedly new, but she's been shown capable of generating general purpose barriers rather then form fitting ones before.
Going from that to a ball like shape isn't much of a stretch.
And that's not even getting into the crazy stuff her Ultimate counterpart can morph her armor into.

If remember well, Tempus can stop time using time bubbles.

Maybe this is the case was what he did with Pixie however it seems that his control is unstable even more in the current situation involving so many X-mens.

Overall it was good rank 7 but still have problems the action scenes were not very good. I expect an improvement in the next since this was setting the stage for the grand finale.

Not even close to Avengers: No Surrender but at least have some good points .

Well, her go-to tactic of travelling back in time and kicking the opponent's father really hard in the balls won't work against Nate, since he's a test-tube baby from another reality.

I'm just wondering why she's hanging out in central Sydney in uniform when she left the X-Men ages ago.

Well, it would make sense if he was blocking all powers, but he isn't, so there is no sense to be made here.
