Personally I'm of the opinion that Blade has an assortment of expensive sunglasses.

I think in marvel, red glasses are usually an indicator that your eyes are somehow different. Cyclops, Daredevil, Wonder Man, etc.

the scene happened way too fast and it was slightly unclear which took away some of the dramatic effect for me.

Until or unless it is cancelled at #9 or #12 and people retroactively want to claim...."it was always likely meant to be a mini and end at "x" issue".

I’m going to keep buying. Blade is in my top three all time probably. Strikeforce #1 was above average, and we rarely get to see Blade lead a team. Im betting there will be lots of fighting. It’s an unusual group to put together.

Looking at the team, Strikeforce does not strike me as lasting for a very long time
