Has comic Blade ever bitten someone as much before Aaron in his normal state of mind? Ghost Rider, Roxxon Super Soldiers. I'm not mad or anything just surprised.

That's what I was thinking. Aaron clearly thinks not enough has been done creatively with Blade's vampire bite. He basically uses it to suck magic out of people.

Why is every sword a damn katana?

It's sort of interesting how popular the kitana is. Quite honestly as far as sword functionality, it's not terribly good in at anything (though it's at least OKAY at several things). But despite that, it's one of the most romanasized swords in all of fiction. I certainly think it looks and sounds cool. And it's a big part japanesse culture, which has gone on to greatly influence a lot of sci-fi as a whole. So yeah... we get a lot of kitanas in comics.

Marvel needs to introduce Blade's throwing glaives. The 2011 anime did a great job incorporating them into his arsenal. I think his sword or swords along with stakes and throwing glaives should be his standard equipment. Then you can mix things up with ninchucks and other equipment at the writers discretion.
