Default Female writers on Marvel books that are KIlling It!!

I am looking forward to picking up Domino #10. Because Gail Simone is doing a great job with that book. She has nailed the characters voice, making it unique in comics, most issues are told in the first person.

I have been reading her work since she did "Birds of Prey" and followed it through to "Wonder Woman" There are aspects of her approach to the character that I think were used in the film. I also read her Tomb Raider mini, but I felt it was a little muted. In Domino, if feels like Marvel is just letting her rip. And its good!!

I am enjoying the humor mixed with the action and the twists. I thought the Master of Kung Fu appearance was one of the best two parters of 2018.

Any body else catch a series with a female author that they liked?
I am committed to the idea that any work of art should be judged on its own merit, not on the behavior or beliefs of its author.

In the past I really enjoyed KSD’s run on Captain Marvel, Wilson’s run on Ms. Marvel and Immonen brief run on JIM featuring Sif.

I thought Thompson’s Deadpool #1 was fantastic and I’m really looking forward to what she does going forward.

I'm happy Marvel hired Torunn Grønbekk to replace Ewing on Valkyrie and the fact they're willing to give new writers with new perspectives a shot at the bigger titles.

I would love for one day a women be able to get a shot to write the flagship title like Avengers, Spider-Man, or X-Men

I'm marveling that it took nearly a year before the first reply. Impressive all around!

I really enjoyed Domino as well, btw, and I'll certainly be continuing to pull Valk when Torunn hops on.

Rainbow Rowell's Runaways is incredible. Novelists coming to comics doesn't always work smoothly, but for her it really did.

Kelly Thompson, Tini Howard and Leah Williams are basically my entire pull list.

Lmao! I didn't notice that at first.

While I was a bit skeptical in regards to Leah Williams, at first, I really enjoyed the recent issue of Gwenpool and I think she's doing a good job on the Mary Jane title.

Wow! Of these female writers, I have only read Louise Simonson, Ann Nocenti (whose Daredevil I never liked) and Chelsea Cain. Didn't realize there were so many!
