Dani Moonstar: Mirage Appreciation 2019

New Mutants is probably my favorite title thus far (I have enjoyed all the ones I've read though). She still seems to be the de facto leader thus far. I know some people were talking about her potentially not leading, but it doesn't appear to be the case. Might change though, seeing as how we're only one issue in.

I'm pretty much with you, Soulsword, for the most part. NM seems to have the best cast chemistry & character moments, so far. And it does feel like Dani's still looked at as the leader, even if she hasn't been stated to be, officially. Ideally, I'd like to see her & Roberto as co-leaders, with Sam stepping aside due to his "other" responsibilities.

She could focus a ton of pain, fear, and hatred into a localized area to induce a massive amount of stress into a single spot of the brain. That could induce an aneurysm, but actually making it explode would probably be a bit difficult to explain
