A psychic construct can look like pure energy or real objects. Dani, at one point, had her illusion casting abilities heightened to its full potential and was able to create illusions that could physically touch you, but could only cast one real illusion at a time. During this time she would often create a psychic spear that looked real. Which is the spear in the above cover.

Nate Grey reconstituted the psychic essence of Madelyne Pryor and housed it in what appeared to be a normal looking body. Nate has also created a real looking arm for a friend that lost her arm in a motorcycle accident.
