It aired sometime in December, just checked it out. The rest of the series will start later this month but I have to say, I was completely engaged. No powers to speak of, but it was incredibly compelling.

Yes, and it was amazing. Great characters and equally fantastic music.

Somehow I enjoyed it
Everything about it screams edgy angst fest
It is edgy angst fest
It should be stupid and another bad tv show
But somehow...it works
I loved the first episode and am excited for more

I haven't read the comic, so I can't speak to that, but I thought the pilot was okay. Some promise, but felt like a pastiche of things I've seen before. Obviously, it was just the pilot so I am hoping the series will pick up once we move past the setup and get into the story.

It was okay. I'll watch a few more and see. One thing, I could not understand half the dialog. The sound was bad. the voices were too low against the background sound and the actors talked to low.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

Thinking about the series it's based on, it really seems like this is going to either be "Hit" or "Miss" for folks without a lot of middle ground.

Only saw the pilot. Didn't blow me away, but it looked fun. The sound and look of the show impressed me, even though some of the performances were only so-so.
