Default Does the Justice League know Shazam is a kid?

So I was watching a few episodes of DCAU and the Shazam I mean Captain Marvel (I always call him Shazam for some reason lol) episode really got me thinking does the Justice League know Shazam is a kid? I mean I find odd the idea of Justice League letting a kid join them and I don't see how a group of responsible adults could knowingly put a kid in danger. Has this ever been brought up outside of Young Justice I mean?

Batman puts kids in danger all the time, even gotten a few killed over the years.

But t answer your question depends on the continuity some know some don't

It was a fun subplot of the Young Justice animated series too.

They knew in the Injustice universe, too. Which made the scene where Superman killed him even more disturbing.

I think it's way more fun if they don't.

If memory serves (a dicey proposition as I'm close to 60), before New 52, Batman knew (he knows everything) and Superman knew. Don't know about the others.

In New 52 everyone in the justice league knew it was confirmed when they saw a dead body in that jl issue and another time in another issue.

Just assume everyone knows until they don't or vice versa.

Didn't Billy transform back around them at some point? I feel like he did.

It would be disturbing if they didn't regularly make a habit of having even non-powered child soldiers working with them.
Billy transforming into a meta human in Superman and Wonder Woman's weight class seems tame by comparison.

I've never played Injustice or read any of the comics, but based purely on plot points, I hate it soooooooo much.

Shouldn't matter since when Billy is Captain Marvel he was the wisdom of Solomon which makes him and adult when he transforms.

Or at least he used to.

Not a fan of Billy acting like he's a kid still when he's CM.

Wasn't there, somewhere, some discussion when Billy as Captain Marvel was chatting up Stargirl and some thought he was a pervert. Then it was realized he was a kid also. Kind of a reverse, Hal and Arisia situation.
