Hydro Man should have been developed into an arch-foe. Could have been interesting, over the years. Maybe create a new Hydro Man, and try things now.
Yeah plus there’s no reason why each team member couldn’t have an archenemy. I mean, wolverine has sabretooth, Jean had Emma for a bit etc

It always looked like paste pot Pete focused on Johnny whenever the FF went up against the frightful four
Just thinking it would be cool if Johnny Storm's full potential would be reaching Absolute hot. Like how Iceman's full potential is Absolute Zero.
With the biggest difference being that Johnny's powers would come with negative ramifications to both himself and everyone.

The Human Torch and the Thing star in "The Sub-Mariner Must Be Stopped!"
Ben and Johnny's hi-jinks are interrupted by the arrival of a pair of LIFE Magazine reporters,
who are there to interview Reed and Sue; When the news reports Sub-Mariner is heading for NYC,
Ben and Johnny figure they can make an impression by tackling him on their own.
