I just picked up all four trades at a great price. I wasn’t too impressed with Kaplan’s Port of Earth, but decided to give him another shot. This story has a good premise and the art looks top notch. Have you read it? What are your thoughts?

The other way around. I really like Port of Earth, and stopped reading Eclipse.
Thought Port of Earth was decent. But I really liked Eclipse. Especially the first story arc.

By the way, is Port of Earth finished? Or is it taking a break?
I’ll probably give POE a shot once again. Sometimes a second read is warranted.
I don't know, I read them in singles. Try it again, if you still owe it. If it doesn't do anything for you after the second read, you know that it never will.
Read the first trade, issues 1-4 today. So far I dig this. I’m in.

Sometimes when you read a book the first time it doesn't click. Maybe you had a bad time or were impatient, or your mind wandered around? When I notice that I give it a reread another time.
I had that with Invincible...glad I gave it another shot.
But, this is a thread about Eclipse
Ah ok...
I read the first issue of Eclipse. It was ok, but didn't hook me, so I forgot about it. So, I don't have much to say about that book. Sorry.
Finished Eclipse today...
I really enjoyed this series. It’s a great concept, well written with great visuals. I do wish some of the characters were a bit more fleshed out, but I may find a reread fills in some of the gaps I felt while reading. I also wished it was a bit longer. Overall, Eclipse is a solid series and I’m quite impressed that it was Kaplan’s first comic. Extra credit for the behind the scenes features in every trade.
I started on Issue #9 after getting into POE and was hooked instantly. I went back and devoured every issue. Loved the art and loved the post-apocalyptic storyline.
