Yeah, I think so. She did start her solo without an A.I.

Mostly because Thanos destroyed her previous armor in Infinity Countdown: Champions, so that was why she built her current armor, with a new AI manifesting based on her memories of her dead best friend Natalie. However, her current armor first debuted in Champions #23 by Jim Zub, somewhat before her Ironheart solo started.

The Tony Stark AI was not destroyed in Champions: Infinity Countdown #2. She must've had a backup, which was returned to the flesh and blood Tony. Tony AI was destroyed later, in an issue of Tony Stark: Iron Man, after Riri had created NATALIE. Tony was using AI Tony because his usual AI Friday had been destroyed, only to end up using an EMP weapon that affected himself as well as his enemies.

Lovely art, I'm not a fan of how busy the suit looks in the books but this actually looks fantastic. I love the red instead of the magenta.

I know folks prefers Eve's IH to Bendis' but what are the chances they skip over her origins, along with Tony as her first AI?

I think maybe they'll only use a few issues from Bendis's run. Maybe the origin, and the Rescue team-up vs Techno Golem - and then move on to the Ten Rings and Wakanda stuff from Ewing's run? The whole plot involving her father should be good.

Yeah that sounds good. I think they'll likely avoid the whole A.I. Tony stuff entirely because I doubt they get Robert Downey Jr. back just for that.

It does leave the possibility for RDJ to make an appearance as the AI if Ironheart does really well and it promoted to the big screen.
