    Default Seven Crises

That's the title of the first issue of Young Justice, and is also an observation made by someone from Gemworld: Earth has been through seven reality-changing Crises, and the folks of Gemworld are getting fed up with getting smacked by the backlash.

So, what are the Seven Crises?

    My guess:
    1. The Crisis on Infinite Earths
    2. Zero Hour
    3. Infinite Crisis
    4. Final Crisis
    5. Flashpoint
    6. DCU Rebirth/Superman Reborn
    7. Metal

    What do you think?

The first five of your guesses are all without doubt. It's the last two that are the question.

I would replace DCU/Rebirth-Superman Reborn with The Multiversity. That had a more crisis feeling than SR.
What worries me is with seven crisis, the 8th crisis is coming.

I'm having a mid-life crisis, does that count?

I'm having a mid-life crisis, does that count? On a more serious note, not keen on the heading 'Metal.' Is it true 'Dark Crisis' was the original title? If so' why the change?

Because calling every event “Crisis” gets boring and someone at DC decides to name it something else. I believe Snyder was the one who didn’t want to call it Crisis.

I feel like Heroes in Crisis or Doomsday Clock might be the seventh crisis. Both of those events are still ongoing but have the potential to lead to a major continuity retcon/reboot. HiC could possibly be resolved by time travel(there are at least two characters involved who have access to time travel, one if Wally is truly dead) and assuming that Doomsday Clock ends with the 'stolen time' being restored, timeline alterations are going to happen.

As these Crises tend to rewrite time from the ground up, I do wonder how the Gemworlders are even aware that the Crises have made said changes.

I've been rebooted a few times, not sure about seven times though. I've experienced a few retcons too, but such is life.

Every time I see the title of this thread, I keep thinking of Richard Nixon's Six Crises instead.
