    Spider-Woman #15 Jun 1979
    "Into the Heart of Darkness!"
Stepping out of the shower, Jessica Drew finds the Shroud in her apartment.
Introducing himself, he explains his origins to her, and his ties to the Cult of Kali.
He asks for Jessica's help into breaking into a SHIELD facility to help him find information on the Cult of Kali,
expressing that he needs her help because, due to his blindness, he cannot read.

As Spider-Woman and the Shroud break into the SHIELD outpost that she knows of, Jerry Hunt and Laura Brown visit the Hatros Institute.
This does not escape the notice of Adrienne Hatros, who calls her fellow cult members,
suggesting that their next sacrifice be the two snooping SHIELD agents.
As Jerry and Laura are captured, Spider-Woman and Shroud, with the information they gathered from SHIELD's files,
track down the Cult to an old tomb where they find Jerry and Laura about to be sacrificed by the cult.

After a battle against the Cultists, the Shroud and Spider-Woman make short work of them and free Jerry and Laura.
After the battle, the Shroud bids farewell to Spider-Woman and departs.

While back at the Hatros Institute, Adrienne Hatros is revealed to be Nekra, who has deduced
Spider-Woman's true identity and vows to get revenge against her for ruining her plans.

Script by Mark Gruenwald, pencils by Carmine Infantino, inks by Al Gordon

    Spider-Woman #16 Jul 1979
    "All You Need Is Hate"
Running late with a session with her doctor, Jessica Drew is forced to travel as Spider-Woman in order to make it on time.
Changing back to her civilian guise, she is examined by two specialists, who determine that people's aversion
towards her is not psychological, but physical. As it turns out, she gives off a pheromone that affects others around her.
Meanwhile, Jessica's boyfriend Jerry Hunt and his fellow SHIELD agents interrogate the members
of the Cult of Kali and learn that their leader is not among the cult members they captured.

That night, Jessica goes to visit Adrienne Hatros at her home

and learns that she is really the supervillainess Nekra.
Nekra explains that after she was defeated by Daredevil, Black Widow and Shanna the She-Devil she was kept in a drugged stupor in
SHIELD custody. It wasn't until she happened upon the Hate Monger's broadcast across America, that had sufficient emotional power to
counteract the drugs and allowed for her to escape. Nekra then wandered the underground tunnels of LA until she came across the Cult of Kali.
She tricked them into believing that she was their god reincarnated, and used their financing to back the Hatros Institute.

She finishes by telling that she had hired Jessica Drew because of her unique biology and hoped to use it to
her advantage to get revenge against the Mandrill by developing an immunity to pheromone-based powers.
This leads to a battle between the two women,

which Spider-Woman ultimately wins, beating Nekra into submission.
After the fight, Spider-Woman calls the police and changes back into Jessica Drew. That night at her apartment,
Jessica is visited by Jerry Hunt, who tells her that he's been reassigned to go back to London, and asks her to join him.
Having established herself in Los Angeles, Jessica decides that she doesn't want to uproot her life again, and the two part company.

Script by Mark Gruenwald, pencils by Carmine Infantino, inks by Al Gordon

I hope that Spider-Woman makes a guest appearance in ASM or The Black Cat series.

I agree with your sentiment. I feel that Jessica would had benefited greatly if she made a guest appearance in Spider-Man as often as The Black Cat does. In fact, Jessica should have been made a featured guest in ASM(2014) against The Black Cat and Electro instead of Silk. This could have introduced the character to the Spider-Readers who might have supported her ongoing series. Dennis Hopeless dropped the ball badly when he chose not to make Peter Parker a reoccurring guest in Jessica's book. Especially on his decision not to use some of Spider-Man's rogues like Mister Negative, Carnage and Hammerhead unto Jessica's world. Imagine the sort of fun it might had been to read on those adventures. The Kingpin is a good example of a character who works best in another titled series, like Daredevil instead of ASM.

Personally, Hopeless should have used The Hobgoblin at the start of his run on the series, as well as The Queenpin Black Cat. This might have gotten a lot of Spider-Man readers onboard her series. In addition, the writer should have done a story arc that could have featured Peter Parker in a supporting guest appearance.

This is a bit of a recent one, but in an alternate universe Jessica Drew was Kuurth, Breaker of Stone!

Yes that meant she was originally a villain, but you could recruit her as an ally after you beat her.
It was SOOO much fun sending her to fight Morlun.

Wanna eat a spider? OK!, but you're gonna have to eat this one hammer first!

What's really fun is it's now canon that the Inheritors can't eat Jessica - she's too radioactive for them.
Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

I take it that goes for the comicbook character Peter Parker as well.
