As for predictions of the future, doesn’t Terrigen change Inhumans for anticipated (by Terrigen) functions. So if you were about to go through the die off the last 6 years have put Inhumanity through would be something that a living repository of the dead might come in handy
While there is the cosmic connection via Thane to Thanos, Starfox, Gamorra and Nebula; the Earth Inhumans have the connection with the Earth Eternals. Ikarus helped BB set up Attilan in the Himylayas etc
Ennilux is doing the best, but prior to Inhumanity it’s ‘breeding stock’ had started failing and they mysteriously didn’t have terrigen anymore (neither did Utollan); they also took substantial losses at the hands of Emma Frost‘s sentinels. Odds are things haven’t gotten much better
New Arctillan is destroyed and, with Summers House sitting in the Blue Area, a return to the Moon is off the cards.
Orollan was wiped out in their chrysalis by Thane, Sky Island degenerated due to their over-specialisation reacting to the Terrigen, Utollan was failing even before the Terrigen wave, and the smaller hidden communities are effectively gone.
There isn’t a future left to any other inhuman groups to hold against the Royals or the Attilan Diaspora; hence why I propose Lineage coughing up the recently deceased (which due to marvel time means any who’ve died since their first appearance) Inhumans and those killed in their cocoons. It restores the various kingdoms and communities, most of whom would be thrown into disorder by the actions of the Royals and they now have a large consistency of unchanged Inhumans who have nowhere else to go but to inhumanity, but who are unhappy with it
If the Universal Inhumans are splitting off then giving the Earth Inhumans alchemy is more about giving them something separate from the others as A) the Universals still have their transformative agent, while the Inhumans need to rediscover theirs through alchemy, and B) the rediscovery of old, ritualistic and unshowy alchemy-based magic leans towards the Inhumans being an older force in the world and is distinct from the ‘X is better than a magic circle’ approach to mutant magic.
With regards to you plan for 3 books and how to undo DoI, I think it’s good; but I respectfully fear that it’s overly ambitious considering the state of the IP. I want DoI undone from the perspective of having as much as possible back in the toy box so that they might be used in the future, but in the here and now I take the cynical route that the means for the return of the Inhumans lies through Ms. Marvel and having to kiss the X-Men’s ass. A lot.
