Never say never with anything in comics, especially when it comes to classic elements. Someone says such-and-such concept is here to stay, or such and such concept is gone forever, then the next day its gone/comes back.

Nah, Fabok did a great job.
I wish he interpreted and redesigned more characters’s costumes. His Female Furies and other Apokoliptan designs in Darkseid War were the best some of those characters ever looked in the modern age.
I don't miss the pre-52 look at all but I must say that I prefer Faboks earlier design to what we have now and I think giving the skirt back to a younger version of Diana, who just came into man's world, would work quite nicely.
I prefer WW's current look
