Wanda had black hair initially, then auburn, then brown. Now it's just whatever the colorist wants it to be. Her eyes also started out blue, then green (because blue was too common), but they've been brown or hazel looking at some points. And also have become whatever the colorist wants to do.

The hair color was explained by Marvel as easier to do black at the time than shades of brown/Auburn. They also did not want every female to be brown or blonde.

I believe that to be only partly true. As with Wanda, her earliest costumes were pinkish/purpleish red shades and her dark black hair stood out and looked good.

Miss America Madeline Joyce wound up with Auburn hair, with a style, length and curl pattern that greatly resembled Wanda's 1970's hair. In fact, both women closely resembled each other, and even their physical stas of height and weight were similar.

In this back up feature, Marvel Girl explains to the reading audience how her telekinetic and telepathic powers work.
Beginning with her telekinetic powers, Jean explains that she can use her mind to lift objects from something as small as an apple

to something large like a sofa. She also shows how she can manipulate objects with her telekinetic powers by peeling an apple with a knife
and deflecting an enemy weapon. She also explains how her powers can get her out of traps, such as allowing her to control a pair of scissors
to cut off a blindfold and ropes that are bound to her hands, or use them to turn the bolt of a locked door from the opposite side

or allow her to seemingly walk above a flaming pit without harm. Finally, she demonstrates
that she can use her telekinesis to lift herself up and allow her to land safely on the ground.

Next explaining her telepathic powers, she explains that she can use them to cause pain in someone's mind,
downing even the most powerful villain with a mental bolt. She explains that her powers help her out in everyday
life which she demonstrates by tripping up a would be purse snatcher. In the end, when a bunch of male onlookers of
the scene pay attention to her beauty, she confesses that being able to make a man turn his head requires no effort at all.

Captain America #114 Jun 1969
"The Man Behind the Mask!""
Having convinced the American public that Steve Rogers was just a false identity,
Captain America walks the streets of Manhattan trying to figure out where to go next with his life.
He begins to realize that his true identity is that of Captain America, and his civilian guise is what feels more like an alter ego.
As he strolls up to Avengers Mansion, Cap pauses for a moment and decides that
he must seek out some normalcy in his life instead of staying with the Avengers.
He is spotted by the Black Panther and Goliath who discuss Cap's reluctance to go to them for help, deciding that the man is entitled to his own privacy.

Deciding to check on Sharon Carter, Steve changes into
his Captain America costume, deciding even S.H.I.E.L.D. is not to know what his secret identity is.
He goes to the barber shop that is a front for SHIELD HQ and gets an audience with Nick Fury.
Fury tells Cap that Sharon was on a mission to investigate AIM activity.
Just then Sharon calls in and reports that this cell of AIM is about to move and that she can't wait for reinforces before signing off.
When Cap notes that the girl looked sullen, Nick tells Cap that she still thinks he's dead.
Worried for the safety of his love, Captain America demands that they move out and help her before it's too late.

Sharon meanwhile gets the drop on the AIM soldiers and tells them to surrender to her.

They don't give up so easily and she is forced to try to fight them on her own.

Realizing that Sharon doesn't have any reinforcements, the AIM commander orders that they release their robot the Walking Stiletto.
Before this robot can attack Sharon, Captain America and Rick Jones arrive to rescue her.
Rick and Cap try their best to stop the machine and Sharon even lends a helping hand.
Finally, Captain America deduces that it's weak point is in the neck area and tosses his shield there.
His theory proves correct and the robot is destroyed, however the AIM goons get away.
With the battle over, Captain America asks Sharon to give up her life of danger to pursue a relationship with him and asks her to leave SHIELD.
When Sharon refuses, Cap decides to never ask again and walks away, rejected.

Cap decides to try and forge a new life, and after dying his hair and using
make-up to alter his features he attempts to find a hotel that will admit him.
With no identification what-so-ever, this proves to be a hard thing to accomplish indeed,
and ultimately Cap has to settle for staying in a slummy hotel in a bad neighborhood.
In his room, he laments about his lot and life and wonders if he has to spend the rest
of his life being a symbolic fighting machine or if he will ever get to live a normal life.
This question goes unanswered as just then the Red Skull materializes in his room.
He shows Captain America that he has at last recovered the Cosmic Cube and
that now he once more has the power to do anything his imagination desires.

Daredevil #110 Jun 1974
"Birthright!"
Continued from Marvel Two-In-One #3...
Returning back to New York following their battle with the Black Spectre, Daredevil learns how the Thing saw who their leader really is.
Not a woman, but some kind of thing. Thanking Ben for the info, Daredevil jumps from the Fantasticar and swings to the ground below.
Along the way down he spots members of the Black Spectre gang.

Battling one of their number, Daredevil knocks her out and removes the helmet and reveals, as he's suspected all along,
that the members of Black Spectre are all women wearing padded costumes to conceal their gender.
What Daredevil doesn't see, and isn't told until he brings the woman into the local police station, is that she has a facial tattoo.
There he is told that they are going to be released due to the fact that they have not committed any crime that they can be booked for.
Before they are released Shanna the She-Devil arrives with her pets to charge them with accessory
to murder when suddenly the holding room explodes, and they realize that the members of Black Spectre have been rigged with explosives.

Aboard Black Spectre's ship, Nekra takes the Black Widow to their leader
and he orders her to go to New York City and collect Daredevil, whom he intends to also make his slave.
While back in the city, Daredevil calls it a night and when he arrives home he finds the leader of Black Spectre waiting for him.
Unmasking the leader turns out to be the apish mutant known as the Mandrill.

The Mandrill explains his origins: That years ago a white nuclear scientist and a black cleaning lady
were both working in an atomic lab when they were both bombarded with radiation.

The radiation caused their children to be born mutants: The scientist's wife birthing a black child covered with hair
while the black woman giving birth to a chalk-white baby. As they grew they continued to mutate and they were mocked and ridiculed by their peers.

Eventually the man abandoned their boy out in the desert, and the girl ran away from home. They would meet and become friends,
riding the rails and learning by stealing books and listening outside of classrooms. Eventually, an angry mob would attack them
and this is when their latent mutant abilities to manifest would come into play:
the Mandrill's ability to control others, especially women, and Nekra's strength and durability being fueled by others hatred.
Realizing the power that they now wield, they vowed to destroy the institutions that caused them so much pain and misery.

Daredevil attacks the Mandrill who throws the hero out a window. As the two begin to fight it out on the streets,
a crowd of onlookers begin to crowd around, and the police are called. Afraid to get captured the Mandrill makes his escape,
and Daredevil is unable to track him with his radar sense due to the noise caused by the crowd and oncoming police cars.
