Superman in Justice League Extinction Machines

THe Superman in Justice League Extinction Machines story arc is a new Superman diffierent from pre-Flashpoint Superman, so why did he hug pre-Flashpoint Lois Lane and her son as if he knew her and her son was also his son?

Am I right in saying this Superman is Post-Flashpoint Superman and not pre-Flashpoint Superman? Or is he otherwise?

This is what i just said so why is the new SUperman hugging Lois Lane and John of pre-Flashpoint as if they are his wife and son?

When Rebirth began the Pre Flashpoint Superman decided to replace the New 52 version to keep Lex Luthor from taking the name. So it is the Pre Flashpoint version. He's only "new" to Batman and Wonder Woman because they are technically still the New 52 versions and they know "their" Superman is dead.

I read somewhere that Rebirth Superman is an amalgamation of Pre Flashpoint Superman and Post Flashpoint Superman. Is there any chance this amalgamated Superman is the Superman here?
