Now that New Mutants are X-Men, it is time for Generation X to return.

Reunite those not stuck in AoX and bring back Skin and Synch!

I agree. I think the time is right for a Gen X revamp. I know they tried it for a while, but it really wasn't the same team. I think with Emma Frost becoming the new Black King, a Gen X series could be really interesting. I hope we see something like that down the line.

I can not explain very well but the focus and concept writers have been using for students or graduate students or for Generation X in the last few years does not seem to be the same as the fans and readers here want.

If a new Generation X comic happens doubt very much that will have these characters as protagonists. At most teachers or special cameo.

Just observe the characters that have been used more in this model in the last years and the preferences of writers and editors to understand this.

Having said that would prefer it to happen after Age of X-man to have the old team complete or at least those who are still alive.

Truly he would have proven to be the ultimate teacher/instructor/trainer at Xavier's had he lived and grown and wanted to help the next generation.

I can see Generation X returning, but it won't be the premise suggested here. After Age of X-Man ends, I think those six minis will be replaced by a few new ongoings. In Nextgen's case, that could be Gen X - and written by Ed Brisson (who's writing Nextgen). To be honest though, it might have a different name. What if they went back to having Logan run the school? That would mean they could call it Wolverine and the X-Men instead. Anyway, I do think a new school book will launch later this year. Just not sure what it'll be called or which students it'll focus on.

There is enough of that with the current student body and faculty.

Jubilee and Chamber are the only cool one from Gen X

Out of all the "younger Xmen" they're the ones that are the most difficult for a reunion. We really only have Paige, Monet, and Jubilee.

Paige has a real job. Monet barely associates with the Xmen. Emma is out. Sean is out. Skin & Synch are both dead. Leech, Artie, & Penance are in comic limbo.

Jubilee still carries the X-flag. Most of the other younger groups feel like they're standing around waiting to be used....Gen X you see every now and then and they're SO different from what they were as a team. They probably have the most growth out of all the teams. The most real.

Id rather the M twins reappear as themselves or join up as M as a nod to when their sister was "lost" the first time

Gen X members are X-Men. Jubilee alway. Chamber immediately after the series ended. Husk during Wolverine and the X-Men and beyond. M during Wood's X-Men.

Technically most to all mutants are X-Men now after Fractions run. Just like pretty much everyone is an Avengers. Team status has no meaning anymore.
