I think it'll probably be a bit fun considering the modern interpretations of the symbiote likely influencing this.

If it's trying to capture the feeling of a particular period then given what we know now about the suit, it'll make for a fun read. Mysterio is probably synergy but given that he is just an out and out fun villain that should be given more to do, I'm all for it.

I doubt we will given that in this period Peter had little idea what was up with the suit. I'm pretty sure the moment he sees tentacles he'd know something was far more wrong than he was thinking.
