It's so interesting to me that we have so many people who first read pre 1989 Huntress first, and so few who read post-2011 first. Seems rather odd.

It's just a question of how old people are and when they started reading DC comic books, that's all.

Yes, I'm just surprised at the ages of our readers! And grateful to those who have hung on so long!

Seems to me she was involved with the Justice League a few different times . . . back during the Giffen/DeMatteis in the late 1980s, and again during Morrison's JLA series starting in 1998.
Not to mention in the comic books based on the animated series.

May have to start a new version of this thread now that Geoff Johns appears to have introduced a new version of the Helena Wayne Huntress for the 2022-2023 Justice Society of America limited series . . .

It would probably be best to wait until her introduction is wrapped up before deciding anything about possibly including her on a poll.

Well, the Huntress in Geoff Johns' current Justice Society of America series is the daughter of Bruce Wayne and Selina but born in the (a?) "future", that does change her somewhat. This version of Helena Wayne had her father die first / the Helena Wayne from the 1970s-1980s had her mother die on her first.

For me it was Helena Bertinelli. The story was Batman vs Predator 2.
