Carmen Sandiego is not exactly a character with deep characterization. Netflix decided that making the title character the protagonist was more sensible, and that necessitated changes. It's a good show.

Actually, they made her into Sly Cooper, where she steals from thieves. I'm fine with these changes, it's hard to make a straight-up villain the protagonist in a kids cartoon.

Yup, she quits because catching crooks is too easy and she wants to go up against ACME instead.

And they are STILL to easy too, so she leaves clues.

Didn't classic Carmen allways lean a bit more towards the anti-heroe side of things on occasion and have a few robin hood esque traits? Cause if she does then it seems more like the Netflix series plays up those traits more, as opposed to totally changing her character

On topic, i don't think he could catch her. She can jump from roof to roofx has crazy gadgeys, like Batman, and a betterbhackerthan btas ever showed
