I always forget that Holt showed up before Johns got him into JSA.
Man, what a fantastic character.
Been a fan of him since Johns brought him in, loving the Terrifics. Even have a character on DCU Online modeled after him (which isn't easy to pull off since there's no T-Spheres in the game).
I'd really like to see him step up and become a bigger player in the DCU. And I think they've got him pointed in the right direction. The problem with the super-smart guys like Holt is that they've gotta find ways to differentiate themselves from Batman, who's the DCU's go-to smart guy. And I think Holt is doing that now. The science-hero exploring the crazy weird corners of the multiverse? DC's own Mr. Fantastic?
