I’m currently obsessed with 80’s Bronze Age pre-Crisis DC Comics, and Doctor Fate has always been one of my favorite characters ever. What are some good 80’s pre-Crisis Doctor Fate stories I should look for?

I'd look for the Immortal Doctor Fate 3-issue mini series. IT's a Baxter reprint book that collects First Issue Special #9 and all the Dr. Fate back ups that appeared in The Flash...

The Flash back ups are really the only solo Fate feature pre-Crisis in the 80s (the First Issue Special book was from the 70s, but still well worth reading).

Figures Toy Company (FTC) did a retro-Mego style Doctor Fate figure in the 8 inch (1/9) scale....

with packaging based on the Super Powers line in the post earlier in this thread....

they also did a non-fist fighter version in packaging inspired by the original Mego packaging...

I wonder if Fate will follow the "return of the trunks" movement?

Dr. Fate (FXW95) from the DC Super Friends™ Series 6 blind packs.

Hope you didn't pay too much on eBay.
I got mine at a nearby Barnes&Noble (using the code on the back) because Walmart didn't have any of that series.

Just picked up the Immortal mini, the ‘87 mini, and the ‘88 ongoing. Can’t wait for them to arrive.

This seemed an appropriate cover to post for Memorial Day Weekend:

More Fun Comics #72 (October 1941),
which came out almost four months before the attack on Pearl Harbor and the U.S. officially entering WWII.

    Very cool. I like it.

Although it's a little off to see the Dr using hand to hand combat as opposed to floating in the air casting his spells.
