I thought the Crispus Allen Spectre was okay. They had him focus on his family too much but he was still enjoyable to read.

That was my opinion as well. It almost seemed like a waste despite enjoying both concepts separately. He wasn't a bad choice by any stretch, but it always sucks to see the band, as it were, break up.
Outside established hosts (Jim, Hal or Crispus) are there any characters you think would be a good fit for The Spectre?
I've often wondered how a villain would handle it because, unlike a usual hero turned heel like Hal was at that time, Luthor would very likely have to pass judgment on himself somewhere in the multiverse. There's something genuinely fascinating about someone having to commit themselves to eternal damnation.
On the other hand, he murdered himself in Forever Evil and allowed the Joker to execute himself in Infinite Crisis, so I guess Geoff Johns has conclusively told me that it's a non-issue.
Still, it'd be interesting to see his take on hosting the Spirit of Vengeance, even if just for a one-shot Elseworlds.
Spectre appeared in GHOSTS for a handful of issues.

mandrake first spectre before the regular series ...
right on both counts.
I had time and got to read the Scooby-Doo Team-Up. Honestly, this picture speaks a thousand words
The Spectre and Dr. 13 continue their feud in GHOSTS.

This actually looks really cool. Art and story look on point.
