Who should be the next “Thanos” level character for the MCU?

After Endgame, I’m positive that Marvel will be gearing up their next universe wide villain, but who should be the one to follow in Thanos’ footsteps?

Annihilus? Kang/Immortus? Galactus? Magus? The Sphinx? Korvac? The High Evolutionary? Mephisto?

Given that the Skrulls are supposed to show up in Captain Marvel, I'm assuming the next big Avenger story they are building towards is Secret Invasion. So I guess my answer would be the Skrull Queen (Maria Hill maybe).

We've yet to see a proper super-villain team like The Masters of Evil - Thanos will be a difficult villain to top, so rather directly competing with him I think putting the Avengers against another super-team might work well.

I voted for Doom because we need something other than a Cosmic threat. Panic's answer, however, is far and away the best. MCU's Zero is still out there, and there are still a few loose ends (i.e. The Abomination) available to build such a group. Honestly, I wish that's what Marvel had done with Phase 3, and held off on Infinity Wars.

Mephisto should be. The great corrupter. It would take a solid actor to pull it off, who is willing to be CGI enhanced.
