    Hear! Hear!

I feel like it helps add to the mystery of the Inhumans.
    Perfectly stated!

    Fantastic Four #145 Apr 1974
"Nightmare in the Snow!" Part 1 of 2.
The Human Torch and Medusa are stranded in the Himalayas! How did they get there?

It doesn't matter now as the duo must battle freezing temperatures, harsh winds, high altitude,

and the rough terrain to stay alive! However, the elements are the least of their problems...once Ternak attacks!

Johnny and Medusa need help! But where in the world can they find help...at the top of the world?

Script by Gerry Conway. Pencils by Ross Andru. Inks by Joe Sinnott.

I loved that issue for many reasons! Great artwork, great coloring, The Cold People! Medusa and Johnny teaming up, a rarety.

This issue also shows a few things not seen or known previously:
    1) Medusa can apparently withstand the freezing cold and wind somewhat

    2) Medusa's hair can act like an ESP system giving her the "Whoolies" when trouble is near

    3) Johnny uses his "White Heat" blast in this issue. Not a "Nova Blast" but something else entirely.

There is something about the way that Medusa was drawn back then that I really like. She has always been one of my favorites! Thanks for sharing!

Even the writing was great and one can tell things from it. For example, Medusa seems to be a bit chatty, as a person who is nervous and on edge might be. She is also practical--asking Johnny how long he can stay aflame. (The error with Johnny'comment though---probably done for the story--is that he can stay aflame for 16 hours, not 20 minutes!)

    Fantastic Four #146 May 1974
    "Doomsday: 200 Below!" Part 2 of 2.
The evil Ternak stands poised to conquer the Earth with his giant Climate Cannon!
But the fighting-mad Human Torch and the long-haired Inhuman are still determined to stop him!

And in the dark caverns beneath the highest mountain range in the world, Johnny Storm and Medusa find a surprising ally...

and then a familiar one! It's clobberin' time!

Script by Gerry Conway. Art by Ross Andru (breakdowns) and Joe Sinnott (finishes).

Here is a gif of the short clip showing Medusa in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3. Her design is what you would expect- she looks badass and regal.

I think they were going to give her a mini, but later changed the concept to "Inhumanity."

Marvel has really missed a lot of opportunities to give some deserving ladies their time to shine on their own. If you think about it Sue is getting her first ever mini in July. And she is the first lady of Marvel and has been around since the very beginning.

Medusa would certainly also be deserving of a solo book imo, but right now I think most Marvel fans would reject it simply because it's an Inhuman book.

Agree with more ladies getting their own books; this should have happened decades ago. Fans would have bought them.

But Sue is (only) the Modern First Lady of Marvel. Sue herself and other Marvelous Ladies recognized Miss America as the First Heroine, so that would make her the True First Lady (of Marvel).
