Another favorite is when Danny throws an iron fist that takes up a couple of splash pages. Danny went triple uranium here!:

"I am a man of peace."

"A man of peace...who fights like ten tigers."

Last favorite moment of the night was when Danny proved himself worthy to hold the title of Iron Fist while battling the Divine Wolf:

"I am a man of peace."

"A man of peace...who fights like ten tigers."

One of my first experiences that I can remember actually reading a story with Iron Fist in it was Incredible Hulk #300, where Luke & Danny came out of nowhere and rescued the Human Torch. Never had the chance to read anything that had to do with Iron Fist prior to this, so I would choose this as my favorite Iron Fist moment.

Some more of my favorite Iron Fist moments:

Just an awesome picture of Danny throwing a mean kick to The Cat:

Old school image of Daredevil vs. Iron Fist. Just establishes how evenly-matched and how good both are:
"I am a man of peace."

"A man of peace...who fights like ten tigers."

Thanks for sharing the classic artwork of Frank Miller & Klaus Janson. Looks awesome as always.

This reminds me of another time Iron Fist & Daredevil met and fought each other in Marvel Super Hero: Contest of Champions #2.

Hey bro. The first image comes from Heroes for Hire Vol. 1 #19. Last issue of a criminally underrated series.

Second image comes from Daredevil Vol.1 #178. PArt of the legendary Frank Miller run.

I think there is a pretty universal concensus that the Brubaker/Fraction/Aja run is the best Iron Fist ever published.

But what would people say is the second best? Claremont/Byrne, Swierczynski/Foreman, Andrews, Brisson/Perkins, other?

Brisson's run is incredibly underrated. I really hated for it to end. I have not read to much from Claremont yet, but I have heard great things.

Nothing can match the sheer power of Andrews' run. Nothing.

Gotta agree with that. Loved the Brisson run, it might even be my all-time favorite.

I like Claremont, but you have to like Claremont of that era (think pre-Byrne X-Men such as the M'Krann Crystal story).

Brisson's run was very underrated but it also feels like Brubaker-light.

Interested in reading Daredevil? Not sure what to read next? Why not check out the Daredevil Book Club for some ideas?

Want to reread Brisson's run. Brubaker-light, sure, but it was a good, clean, story that reestablished a lot of aspects of both Iron Fist and his mythos.

In any case, be on the lookout folks. Danny and Luke have made appearances in the War of Realms main book and tie-in's. Yeah, he just gets a line or two, but still appreciate the fact that Danny is still around.
