Elseworlds/Multiverse Question

So something that has been bothering me for the last year what Else World stories do you think take place in the Dark Multiverse? I mean by nature of the Dark Multiverse the Dark Knights are well dark and all of their worlds end that falls in line with some other else world stories some even ending in the destruction of the hero or that hero's world. It's got me wondering if some of the else world stories are in fact taking place in the Dark Multiverse. Do you think this is something the DC writers should explore or clarify? I mean I saw Russian Batman and Vampire Batman in Dark Knights Metal but that only makes me wonder if these were the same characters or if they were from different but similar Earths as those respective Batmen.
