Default How Would You Approach a Marvel Comics Indians Jones Ongoing?

What would be the status quo of this comic?

Who would be the co stars?

    Who would write?

    Who would draw?

I'm assuming you mean if Marvel decided to publish an Indiana Jones series again?

I thought that was a given.

I realized that I misspelled Indiana as "Indians" in the title. Forgive me.

I know nothing except that Dan Slott would actually murder someone to write an IJ book.

Meh I mean fine but I am not anxious for it.

I would rather stay with in house properties plenty to mine there.

Now A Dominic Fortune comic now you got me thinking.

And here I was thinking that Tomb Raider was the reboot of Indiana Jones, albeit not a Marvel reboot.

A property such as Indiana Jones seems to me like something that would work best as a series of minis/graphic novels. That way you can get a variety of creators to do their own Indiana Jones story.

who knows how rigid Lucasfilm would be in terms of notes-- especially since another movie is reportedly coming.

I suppose the "easy" reach would be the era of the first three films, when the Nazi regime was in the background but WWII hadn't begun yet. (You have a fan contingent that says they have "Nazi fatigue" at this point; Indy's stories don't have to have those people involved, but they should never be completely cut out.)

There's also the "unseen years" between the third film and the fourth, where Jones was said to be active with the Allies during WWII. The anti-communist era would start after the end of WWII, of course.

The obvious question for many would be "is this stuff canon?" I suppose LucasFilm could declare it to be so, or... not. If not, then maybe it's easier to craft the stories. If so, then, well, maybe look to hyper-scrutiny from Lucasfilm editorials, which may mean that certain stories can get drastically altered or even never come out.
