I'm going to pick this one, because it is (in)famous in the history of comics. During the 1954 hearings of the Senate Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee to Investigate Juvenile Delinquency (for which Dr. Fredric Wertham was a principal witness), the committee's chairman Estes Kefauver confronted E.C. publisher William Gaines about this particular cover, citing it as a prime example of all that was leading young comic-book readers into lives of violence and crime. Immediately after the hearings, the comic book industry established the Comic Magazine Association of America, which instituted the Comics Code Authority and imposed self-censorship on the industry for the next decades.

    Note the tagline…

«Speaking generally, it is because of the desire of the tragic poets for the marvellous that so varied and inconsistent an account of Medea has been given out» (Diodorus Siculus, The Library of History [4.56.1])
