Trent Brown agreed to terms on a four-year, $66M contract with the Oakland Raiders. He was the LT that kept Brady upright all last season and helped him avoid sacks all playoff long.

DeSean Jackson wants to return to the Eagles. I think they should take him.

Brown is an up/down player. He was traded to New England for a reason last year. He played solid for sure. But he was ran out of town by the 49ers for a reason. Its why the Patriots really didn't seem to make an effort to keep him.

I agree. Even though Jackson is 30, he's still a deep threat, something the Birds lacked last season.

He was a backup to the starter, whom was a rookie, but he got injured bad.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out for the Raiders.

They sure are making a splash.

In weird things Levon Bell has sent instagram messages to Kansas City telling them LETS GO and wants to play in that offense. But the Chiefs really can't pay him huge money due to a tight cap situation. I'm sure people would do a WTF if the Chiefs lined up with Bell , Hill , Kelce and Watkins at times. But for now the Chiefs have to concentrate on defense side of the ball and moves there.

Bell will likely sign a huge money deal with Raiders or Jets. They have the huge cap room to pay.

With the Browns seemingly turning around and the Raiders having a shot ... who will be the basement team now? Jets?

49ers, I think. Garappolo is coming back, sure, but I really think his run in late 2017 was a fluke.

In the AFC, my money is on the Broncos.

Zona, Giants, and the Bucs have a lot of work to do, too. Moreso than the Niners IMHO.

Hah! I forgot about their dumpster fire in progress. Raiders and Jets still have a shot.

Nice pickup for the beard. Lions may actually have half of a good team next year!

In a blow to KC , they lost Mitch Morse as center to the Buffalo Bills. This is not gonna help Mahomes who has a chemistry with that offensive line. I wish KC had kept him. Now KC has to either draft or sign one.

So the Chiefs lost Morse and cut Houston. But today they landed the Honey Badger. Today the Chiefs signed Tyrann Mathieu to be the safety . This could signal the end of Eric Berry's run with the team as he battled injury issues the last year. But if Berry can return ...a safety tandem of Berry and Honey Badger would be an awesome secondary !

Trent Brown was serviceable for the Patriots last season but he wasn't expected to be the starter. The Patriots used their first #1 round draft choice to draft an OL guy to be their next left tackle but he got injured in training camp. I'm guessing that's why the Patriots didn't go hard to keep him.

A co-worker today said the Patriots offered the Steelers a 1st round and 3rd round draft pick for Antonio Brown but the Steelers chose to send AB elsewhere. I'm not if my co-worker was full of it but he's usually pretty good with info. It will be really interesting to see if Leveon Bell signs with the Raiders. I kind of hope he does just to see how well the Raiders could compete with him and AB.
