He's the best WR in the draft this year, IMHO.

Another solid choice would be AJ Brown. Maybe Butler from Iowa.

Making an average of $16.5 million per year, he's now the highest-paid offensive tackle in the NFL. As a member of the Patriots last season, Brown allowed 13 QB hits -- third-most among all tackles, according to Pro Football Focus. Consider that New England gave up just 67 QB hits total (third-fewest, according to PFF), and Brown's issue is even more concerning."

Well its kind of surreal to see someone take a position like this on Brown when 1) his former team just won the Super Bowl, 2) he was the top-rated tackle in the playoffs last year and 3) Bill Belichick had nothing but praise to say about the guy's skills. Implying that he is some kind of big risk for the Raiders based on one single stat seems pretty unwarranted. Offensive tackles have lots of jobs.

Tannehill traded to the Titans to back up Mariotta.

And in news that surprises no one, Kareem Hunt suspended 8 games by the NFL.

They must be pretty confident that they can get their guy in the draft as they're riding into next year with Jake Ruddock and Luke Falk. They still have the opportunity to sign Osweiller, but I can't say that's much better. Also interesting for Tennessee, while he is likely not going to start over Mariota, he does have a relatively large contract (at least for a backup) that he has a couple years left on. Is this a sign that the Titans aren't enamored enough with Mariota to extend him at the end of this year and Tannehill will be their bridge? I think that's at least somewhat likely.

Tyreek Hill along with his fiancee might have been involved in a battery incident involving his 3 year old son, who apparently had his arm broken. Hill hasn't been charged with anything though. The incident did happen at his residence.

Given what happened to Hunt, they might have to cut Hill if he really did screw up. That's the precedent they set.

They reworked Tannehill's contract as part of the deal, and it's only for $7 million guaranteed (of which Miami is paying $5 million) plus incentives, so he's not really going to be a big money contract for the Titans, and it's not out of line with what some of the back ups with starter experience are getting. Mariota has yet to stay healthy for a full season and is on the last year of his rookie deal paying out the 5th year option, so he is likely going to have to prove to the Titans he can be a full time starter to get resigned on a big money deal. Tannehill does provide a good insurance policy if Mariota again can't play 16 or is not resigned, which probably factored into the Titans thinking in the deal (and he is an upgrade from Gabbart).

I'm guessing Miami signs a veteran to be a back up (maybe someone like AJ McCarron who just got released or maybe even taking a flyer on Bortles on a 1 year incentive laden deal) and will take the best QB available in the first round.

Hunt wouldn't have this situation play out had he been honest with the Chiefs from the start. He admitted he lied to the team and claimed he didn't hit the lady involved. It wasn't til the team saw the tape did they react and they felt Hunt lied and needed a zero tolerance deal. Hill seems to have learned from that and is working with Chiefs and law enforcement on this.

If the Phins can't move up in the Draft to get a good Rookie, as opposed to the best available at #13, thy should maybe go after Josh Rosen or just get one of the journeymen available and wait until next year. Maybe a good place for Kaepernick?

PLEASE! Miami will ask Dan Marino to come out of retirement and suit up before they call Kaepernick who is the ultimate example of persona non grata. But, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to try and trade for Rosen.

Regardless, if he actually had something to do with breaking his son's arm...he's going to be disciplined by the league. And the excuse that the Chiefs will have on their plate that Hunt lied to them about it, and Hill didn't...isn't going to wipe away the stink of a vile act like that...assuming he did it.

If he did break his sons arm the team will release him basically and the Browns will sign him claiming he's going into therapy. We already know how that will play out since that was what they did with Kareem Hunt. Hill unlike Hunt has been open and the Chiefs are aware of this investigation as this article claims.

Its why KC who had talks of extending Hill to a big contract haven't moved yet on doing it. Because they seem to be waiting on this 2nd investigation (the 1st one was closed as the article claims) .

Its been said Gase was pushed to use Tannehill even though as a coach he really wasn't thrilled with him. A big blow came when Tannehill wasn't able to run his passing system so Gase had to gear the team around the run game 1 season which did well. Then he fucked up and didn't have the ACL surgery which he should have done , but instead went home and did rehab which someone warned his knee could pop and it did.

Nowadays a team moves on from a QB within 2-3 seasons if they don't click. But in the case of the Jaguars and Dolphins they held onto 2 QB's for a number of seasons beyond when they should have. Tannehill got 6 seasons (with 2 seasons that flashed some things 2014/2015) but overall he was a middle of the road QB. Bortles with his mechanics was even worse. Yet both teams stood by them hoping their raw physical gifts would translate.

Its been said that Titans want Mariota to take that next step. Him and Winston are under pressure to take that next step ahead. Arians has to fix Winston here as we see with his hiring .

Wilson down played it on Fallon this past week and basically joked he will be held on in Seattle more than likely.

Well they just signed Ryan Fitzpatrick to a 2 year deal, so he will be the bridge, whether they draft a QB this year or next year.
