I don't understand why Tom Selleck isn't playing Gordon in the movies.

Because they already have J.K. Simmons

Doesn’t he have a TV show.

Btw just no to that whole idea.

Gotham was supposed to be that but they realized the villains like Penguin and Riddler were a lot more fun so its really their show now.

One of the things that blew me away about The Dark Knight is that the finale of the movie involved Gordon even more than it did Batman. I never imagined that a Batman movie could end with Batman and Gordon on equal footing against a villain.
