I don't know what you're getting at.Scott didn't deserve to die like that,from an infection,from T-mist,that what cable saying & he should be glad Emma tried to give him a warrior's death.

well what she did to cyclops was pretty awful wouldn't you say? not allowing him have a proper funeral for people to pay his final respects is downright selfish and evil. at least it is to me. others may disagree but that was definitely pretty awful of her.

They all thought he was killed by BlackBolt's voice not the mist. She let them all think he died trying to save their ass and saved them the grief of knowing the truth...which none of them actually know except for Havok, the Cuckoos, and apparently Cable.

The body was a plot hole because they never showed Emma putting him in the ground, but they also never showed his body being put back in the ground after Resurrection.

Mpox was like small pox...there would've been questions why his body was like that.

Their recent history had been one of Scott reaching out to the "X-Men" and having his hand slapped away, treated as a monster by the people that he loved - and after his "death", they take it further, refusing to contest the absurd claims made by the Inhumans. They knew it was a lie and yet went along with the narrative that Scott was a monster - and are they going to seek redemption for their less-than-heroic behavior? Ha.

That was a compromise necessary to maintain the illusion. There is a really heartfelt story in there about someone taking such extreme actions and risks to preserve the legacy of someone they love, too bad it happened at the worst possible time.

She gave them an opportunity to save face and pretend that they would've done things differently if only they'd had more time - then they proceeded to drag Scott's name through the mud.
