I liked the first two volumes of Marvel Knights 4, it fell apart in volume 3 and 4. It showed just how much the FF needed to explore as that's what the teams about. Other than that I think it has one of the best depictions of Sue and you can tell that Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa really liked Sue.
Lol
What I liked most about the run is that it gave Sue a personality. Her personality wasn't solely being a mother, that was just one facet of her. Your example and others in the run showed that she had a mischievous side, the pranks Johnny makes and his sense of humor was likely a Storm trait. You could tell that him and Sue were related beyond having shared physical features.
She was fun, not nagging, made jokes, was confident, kicked ass, and had a lot of heart. I wish writers used that run as the base for Sue's personality and develop it further, make her personality even more interesting.

I like this X-Men: First Class #1 story (2007) where Charles Xavier asks the newly married Sue to mentor Jean as she has no fellow female teammates in the X-Men, as Jean looks up to her. I wish Sue and Jean can meet up again in the future.
The last row is towards the end of the story, but it shows how Sue's experience helps her guide Jean in developing her own powers.

I really enjoyed that story and Sue definitely needs to meet up with Jean again.
Sue mentoring and being a role model for other female heroes is great to see. I hope to see more of it in the future.

Jean and Sue have a lot in common and depending on what adult Jean is like (I haven't really read X-Men since Morrison's run), the two could easily reconnect. After all, they were both 'the girl" on a superhero team and were both involved with the team leader. Additionally, both gained incredible amounts of power and that power has yet to be quantitatively defined. Both are also very familiar with world destroying events.
I also felt that Sue and Jean would be natural friends with a lot in common. In some ways, the alt future of Days/Passed could indicate that their families grew closer and their children shared even more.
Sue by Davis.
My favorite version, ever.
