Doesn't that make her the opposite of a glass cannon? A glass cannon has strong offense but weak defense, Sue has one of the best defensive powers in Marvel.

Her attack feats are nothing when compared to her defensive feats.

Well, her offense is Top Tier with her constructs capable of beating Cosmic level characters and her shields and invisibility make her defense one of the best and very hard to hit.

She is glass in that physically if she gets hit, she can get knocked down quickly as she has proven she isn’t a tank but her powers make her truly borderline OP.

When Sue's powers are used creatively, the stories get much better. Turning invisible is the least of her abilities. Her ability to turn other items invisible is criminally underused.

We know next to nothing about what could be going on. They've been keeping pretty tight-lipped about the first issue and have not talked much about issues beyond it. We might get some more answers in a few hours with the "Marvel Comics: Next Big Thing" panel at SDCC where they'll talk about the upcoming book a bit. But they may just repeat things we already know.

Man, Marvel sure is pimping her out.

Not sure how I feel about that. I mean, she’s great and all but I’d rather the series is kept as an ensemble. I’d say give her a solo series but even that wouldn’t work because she’s too close to the team to go out on her own adventures. As much as I love the Incredibles movies, they have a similar problem by giving too much focus on one character for the majority rather than focusing on the family together for all of it.
