I haven't touched this in years, but I largely recall enjoying it. Under the proper screenwriter, would make for a good event movie.

Back then, my budget was a bit more limited, so I skipped out on most of the tie-ins. Since then, I've picked up everything and re-read it. I think it was a pretty ambitious undertaking, that paid off in many ways. Not so much in others. Turns out, some of my favorite material is the tie-ins that I skipped the first time around.

I still wish they hadn't killed Aquaman, though. I indirectly blame OW@W for giving us Veitch's Aquaman series that almost sunk before it even got a chance...

Still haven’t read it. Heard it was ok, but I really liked Imperix in the Legion of Superheroes cartoon.
