    Default Historical Comics

Today I picked up a comic entitled "The Illustrated Story of The Crusades" from my local used bookstore. It was alright, and I actually learned some about The Crusades. Anyway, it got me thinking that I haven't heard much about this genre before, but surely there must be other comics that are focused on telling the stories of the past without added fantastical elements. I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for comics that would fall in the Historical Fiction realm.

Larry Gonick's Cartoon History of the Universe is really good.
