I think some people need to understand what flop means. And no ,posting some YouTube videos with the same veracity than the "magazines" sold at the supermarket checkout don't count.

Yeah I see people getting a flop and an underperforming movie mixed up. A flop should be considered as a movie that loses a studio money by not making back its production budget and marketing costs which would be Cats in this case. A movie that underperforms should be one that makes the studio back its money but doesn't meet the forecasted expectations and/or is projected to have a negative effect on future films due to not meeting consumer expectations which in this case would be the ROS.

ROS is projected to pass a billion but not expected to out gross the last jedi.

Folks with agendas don't care about facts. Because that means to learn what facts are involves RESEARCH versus being told what to think by trolls who have agendas.

That is a silly argument. The ST has definitely gotten worse financially each installment. And this will be the first time the 3rd movie did worse than the second. Hell a big part of the problem is that Finn should have had skills they gave to Rey like flying a ship. She Luke and Han abilities which screwed Finn if you think about it and weakened the trilogy.

This ToysRUs foolishness is nonsense. A major retailer is relying on one toy line to stay in business or go bankrupt. None of the other toys, even Disney toys don't matter. Not only that but it isn't about ROS being a bust, if it makes 900 million instead of 1.2 billion, ToysRUs goes under?
