Silver Sable and the Wild Pack #22 Mar 1994
    "Don't Believe the Hype!" - Part 2 of 2.
The Beetle, Boomerang, Blacklash and a group of other super-villians are about to give Silver and the Pack a fight.
Especially after Beetle reminds her that he has to settle a score with Silver after their first encounter way back in Amazing Spider-Man #281.

Meanwhile, Quentino is duking it out with someone who used to be his friend.
He manages to reason with him and learns that it is Latisha who is setting the whole thing up.
The gangs have now joined the fight between Beetle and the Pack, and turned it into a three-way affair.
Latisha, while on the phone with Justin Hammer, the mastermind behind the operation ,
learns that she and the gangs are just being used so he can buy up the place when it's value decreases.
Of course, this infuriates Latisha and she decides that she will keep Beverly Hills for herself.
The fight intensifies and Silver is blindsided by Latisha's brother Morris.

But he is suddenly killed by an ice spear thrown by Blizzard.
Quentino and his friend, who's name is Larry, is about to join the fight, but a blast comes at them.
Quentino pushes Larry to safety, but takes the full brunt of the blast.

Beetle, Boomerang, Blacklash and the other super-villians opt to bail out of the situation,
and the gangs remaining prove to be no contest, as the police begin their raid.
The story ends with news that Quentino survived the blast but that he can no longer walk.
He had asked if Larry could be his replacement.
Silver tells Quentino that once he is well enough, he will go full time into research and development.

He managed to survive but fell into a heroin addiction, and then a rehab center.
Quentino stayed at the center for about 10 months.
There he earned the respect of the staff and officials and was able to stay clean.
One day, he was offered a job with Silver Sable, to which he quickly accepted.

While there, he quickly impressed everyone with his technical prowess.

Silver Sable and the Wild Pack #23 Apr 1994
    "Death Threats"
The issue begins in the law offices of Matt Murdock (who is believed dead, but his alter ego Daredevil is very much alive).
Silver is courting the services of Murdock's partner to help clear her beau Jacques who is being accused of treason.
Meanwhile, Paladin has tracked down Johnathan Lee, a man who had been embezzling money from Silver Sable International.
A phone rings in the office and Silver is called back to the Symkarian Embassy.
But while that conversation takes place, Deadpool dispatches Silver's limo driver and waits for Silver.
Silver arrives and a small scuffle ensues before Silver kicks him out of the limo and speeds away.
Undaunted, Deadpool carjacks a cab and pursues.
Just as he pulls up to Silver's limo, Daredevil comes in to make the save.

Deadpool flees through a manhole and Daredevil and Silver follow.
A brief interlude reveals that it is the Genesis Coalition who sent Deadpool after Silver.
Back to the action, a fight erupts in the sewers of New York. Silver and Daredevil corner Deadpool.

Deadpool refuses to reveal who sent him, and in an anti-climatic scene Silver agrees to pay him handsomely for the information and he agrees.
The last page tells how Paladin learned that The Foreigner was behind the embezzling scheme, as he tried to gain control of Silver Sable International.

Can't say I ever cared about Sable much initially but between "Ends of the Earth" and Spider-Man PS4, recent years have been good to her.

Me: "Silver Sable's a little too international and out there for normal Spider-Man"

Me after PS4: "Silver Sable is perhaps one of the greatest characters in fiction, but it's odd how when I throw wedding rings at her they just bounce off the TV and she doesn't respond "
I don't blind date I make the direct market vibrate
