I like the depth they added to Jean in this scene. Yes, it's not comic 616 Jean issues, but it adds layers.

I know there aren't a lot of things Marvel and Disney will save once the X-Men get rebooted into the MCU. But I really hope they save Quicksilver. Say what you will about Fox's handling of these character. They handled Quicksilver better than the MCU.

Agree and disagree. It’s unfortunate MCU killed their version but Fox just recycles the same scene with him every movie. We haven’t even had an interaction with Magneto. Also im personally not a fan of Evan Peters look and acting.

The MCU version was much closer to how Quicksilver should be. The FoX-Men's Quicksilver action scene was interesting, but I think once is enough. Now Sonic the Hedgehog is gonna rip it off. I like that the MCU's had an accent, had a sister, and had cool powers. They shouldn't have killed him off, or had him push Hawkeye to the side.

I like the fact that all the people who criticise MCU for it's supposed "no substance" also like Fox!Quicksilver who is nothing but a cool(only once tbh) set piece.

Yeah, Disney/MCU's biggest problem with their Quicksilver was killing him. He was Pietro. He was handsome. He had a twin sister. He had a tragic backstory. All those things make him the better Quicksilver. Evan is just a joke and special effect in comparison, and I still think the X2 Nightcrawler White House scene is a better use of the hypertime SFX that they've been milking with Evan since DoFP [to diminishing effect]. Even with Magneto on the table Fox has yet to actually work with their relationship. I just wish somehow Pietro had been brought back in Endgame. Maybe somehow the Loki or WandaVision shows can work him back into the fold.
