    This poster is screaming REMAKE.

And that's NOT a good thing. Because people won't pay to watch a movie they already disliked.

That’s one of the reasons why people call her a Jean Grey rip-off.

But honestly, the only similarities between Old Jean, Scarlet Witch, and New Jean’s outfits is that they wear red trench coats.

You mind as while say they all look like Carmen Sandiego.

Aaaaaand that’s because X3 Jean wore an entirely scarlet colored costume, corset and all. Which was weird choice when you have another character called the SCARLET witch... who wears all scarlet costumes... usually with a corset. Glad to see they haven’t learned from any of their previous mistakes.

Except general audiences like The Last Stand. There is literally no review site where it didn’t do okay.

Jean’s coat in this movie is maroon, not scarlet.

58% on Rotten Tomatoes, 61% General Audience.

Compared to 81/83 from the first movie, 85/85 from the second.

X3 reviews are far more similar to X-Men Apocalypse (48/66) and X-Men Origins: Wolverine (37/58)

The 61% from general audience is the second lowest in franchise history.

So no... they don't... at all.

That 58% is the percentage of critics that liked the movie and the audience rating is the percentage of voters that gave it a 3.5/5 stars or higher, meaning it shows those who rated it above average.

Anything over 50% is a majority, so the majority of critics liked it. While the audience rating shows an even greater majority considered it above average.

Except that Rotten Tomatoes is weighted. Hence why the 58% scores as a "rotten" even though its technically above 50%: because it uses the American grade system. 58% is an F.

Are we really going to pretend that movies scored in the 50th percentile are generally favorably viewed? We are? Ok cool, just making sure.

Which is an arbitrary system to use.

Blade and Blade 2 scored lower. Are you going to pretend that general audiences don’t love those movies?
