It's hitting me how perfect Sophie Turner's appearance is for Jean Grey. Ironically, I think 20 years ago Jessica Chastain would have been a more true to comics look than anyone else I can think of. Certainly more than Famke. I know, I'm just being snide for the sake of being snide. I LIKE the movies though. So excited for this movie.

I agree. The Disney banner is much more dynamic. I love the full poster they put out, and I'm interested in going to the X-Men Day event here in GA, but we'll see what happens. Originally Posted by The Shape

I really don't like the costume direction for Jean. The red coat is just so meh and unimpressive. It's not like its unsalvageable. A gold scarf could make the costume a lot better, especially if you don't want the rather gaudy and awkward to transition to live action Phoenix costume.

any guesses as to what role Lamar Johnson from Next step is gonna be in? or what part Dazzler is gonna play in the story?
tbh I've never heard of Johnson and had to look up 'Next step' but considering he's a young black dude the options of which character he might be portraying(if he's not a he's movie Mutant) is rather limited
