any guesses as to what role Lamar Johnson from Next step is gonna be in? or what part Dazzler is gonna play in the story?
tbh I've never heard of Johnson and had to look up 'Next step' but considering he's a young black dude the options of which character he might be portraying(if he's not a he's movie Mutant) is rather limited

I honestly hated that, the acting and the scene itself felt so off. I had a dream where the movie looked like it was made to be as bad as possible (cgi was horrible and the scenes made no sense) and honestly this scene gave me the same feeling.

What exactly is off with the scene.

It just feels awkward. The acting seems like a test run, the scene itself doesn't make sense due to no context, would much rather see them going out to space than the old "Oh your Magneto your dangerous" with Jean randomly popping in and attacking.

Dunno, maybe with context it would make sense but at the same time this simply was an odd choice of scene to show. We've seen it a thousand times.
