There's hate for Jean? If there's hate for Jean, I think its the teenage version. Mainly, because she's not the original and acts differently (which its kinda true). But outside of that, I don't think there's hate for adult Jean. I guess the meanest thing they say about her is that she's boring. Which is not true, but everybody is entitled to their opinion.

Well, some people hate her because a big number of X-men stories are about the Summers-Grey family being the main characters.

Yeah there is a lot of hate for Jean. The same people who say Jean is "St. Jean" and has no flaws, and then goes on to give examples as to why she's a terrible person. Or how anytime Jean does something that someone else's favorite wasn't able to pull off, its because she's a Mary Sue. Then go on to disregard any of the feats Jean has done because it wasn't really her, it was the Phoenix elevating her powers, not Jean herself. It's the same old cycle of crap.

Though its always nice to have threads like these were fans of Jean can avoid engaging in that nonsense.

It's the same 10 people ranting and raving how much they hate Jean on multiple forums, with multiple names. Or some of them use their same name. Among normal people that isn't hate for Jean or else her character wouldn't be so prominent in films, cartoons, video games, and other media. She's well liked.

The same 10 people are weeping and wailing how they are going to quit Marvel because Emma Frost is a major villain again, but Marvel/Disney won't even notice or care that they are gone with the billions they make from films alone.

@Wallstreeter: you are spot on with your analysis! They are indeed out there, and they do use multiple names to make their presence seem even larger. And they bully others who like Jean.

@Havok 83: you provided 3 great images of Jean! TAS Phoenix was so great. The Evolution Jean/Phoenix only lasts 1.5 seconds and it is great to see it here. Likewise Jean in her blue/green outfit which is a also a quick show. Here, they can really be seen really well.
