Her presence is sorely missed, but I do like Peter David’s X-Factor.
Anyway, I just read New Excalibur 1-3, and I must say that I laughed out loud when evil Jean from an alternate reality just shrugged off Betsy’s telekinetic attack. Claremont had just spent several issues in Uncanny X-Men declaring just how powerful Betsy is, but when she faced Jean she didn’t stand a chance. It is obvious which character is closest to Claremont’s heart. :-) (I love Betsy, but I still found that scene funny.)
