I prefer Bloodstorm & Cyke. It's a dynamic they never explored with their older counterparts. Storm & Cyclops have a lot in common and both having been leaders of the Xmen naturally would've made sense.


What about Jean + Captain America?

Is he finished with his Jackboot kick? Before AvX I think he could have been a good pairing for her, but now I'd have trouble with him and any mutant leader.

I could see something like Jean calling him out for it, then they decide to bring back the Unity Squad, and things go from there lol. It's a fun setup and gives Jean a chance to be on other stuff while still focusing on mutant issues.

What about Jean + Captain America?

I would so be down for Jean and Steve Rogers. If you read the older issues, Jean really can be a lot of fun, I could see her being good for Steve and in some ways, Steve being good for her.

It would allow Jean to interact with so many new characters.

Plus, they would be so pretty.

Exactly, maybe before AvX they could have been something but currently Jean dating with Captain America would be almost as if Jean dating with BlackBolt.

That's actually a very good point. Each having gone through their own "dark" saga. Jean would be a different kind of woman entirely, since Steve has historically been attached to women who are in/take part, in espionage.

Jean is technically, a civilian. And I tend to like or at least, find interesting, what Jean brings out in people. Steve Rogers is one of the most unique characters in the MU, and so is Jean. Similar enough to be compatible but different enough to be interesting.

And whatever Steve's history with Cyclops, I honestly don't think Jean should or would hold it against him. He didn't kill Cyclops. And we certainly can't forget that Scott cheated and fell in love with a woman intricately involved in one of the worst points of her life (DPS) but who has also been open with her boundless hate and pleasure at Jean being dead.

What I meant was that Laura/Tyke didn't bother me because of the context. And I remember there has never been anything more than the friendship between Scott and Logan (I hope). if instead of Laura it had been one of the Stepford Cuckoos, the thing would be very different. Stepford Cuckoos = Emma, Jimmy = Logan. that's the problem, as I said I didn't have anything against Jeen/Tank.
