I like the nos to DC, but at the same time, I feel like it's also ripping on DC because, well, a Hall of Justice is sort of silly. A mansion or a skyscraper is much, much more sensible.

I don't know, I think if there's an area that serves as a public attraction/PR building then a Hall of Justice can be sensible too.

Man. OK, if you liked the wholesome/creepy juxtaposition in Age of X-Man Alpha, I don't think this issue is going to disappoint. Nadler and Thompson do a great job layering the veneer of classic, good-hearted superheroing over the cold, ultimately selfish core of X-Man's utopia. So I guess I'll be reading most of these minis now.

It's pretty much what you see on the tin: Storm, X-Man, Magneto, Colossus, Jean Grey, X-23, Nightcrawler and Nature Girl.
